Welcome to Rudralife's Shravan 2023 celebrations, where we dive into the significance of Shravan, stories of Lord Shiva, important rituals, dates, and the significance of Adhik Maas which is occurring after 19 years. This Shravan, like each year, we at Rudralife will be worshipping Lord Shiva through Vedic Pujas on each Shravan Somvaar.

Sawan, also known as Shravan, is a significant month in the Hindu calendar dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. In 2023, Sawan brings unique occurrences such as an extra month called Adhikmas, extending the Sawan period to 58 days with 8 Sawan Somvars or Mondays devoted to Lord Shiva.

During Sawan, devotees observe fasts and perform rituals to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. The worship of Lord Shiva holds immense importance in Hindu mythology and Indian culture. His glory is depicted through stories like the Samudra Manthan, where he consumed poison to save the world.
